The piece involves one  performer walking over the tiles. There is a delicacy and meditative nature to a bare foot fracturing the tiles, cracking beneath the weight of the body. The idea of nature being contained within the tiles and humans leaving their mark translates through the piece.  A naked foot lends to this idea of fragility of the piece as its laid bare and exposed. This drawn out moment creates tension, as if the performer is ‘treading on eggshells’ with nature.
